According to the August 2015 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report published by the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) this past week, U.S. containerboard production was 3% higher than in August of last year. The month-over-month average daily production compared with July 2015 was 1.1% higher.

The containerboard operating rate for August remained flat at 96.3%.
