Olli Koponen, EVP, Molded Fiber and a member of the Group Executive Team, Huhtamaki, OYJ, Finland, has been appointed EVP, Flexible Packaging, effective October 22. Koponen continues as a member of the Group Executive Team reporting to CEO Jukka Moisio. He has an extensive career and broad experience within the Group since 1990 and prior to heading the Molded Fiber business segment he held several leadership positions with Huhtamaki in Finland, Turkey, Hong Kong, and Russia.

Following Koponen's appointment to head the Flexible Packaging segment, Petr Domin, managing director, Molded Fiber Europe, has been appointed interim EVP, Molded Fiber, reporting to Moisio as of October 22. Domin has been with Huhtamaki since 1990 and has held several management positions within the Group's molded fiber business.

Shashank Sinha (50), EVP, Flexible Packaging and a member of the Group Executive Team has decided to leave Huhtamaki to pursue new career opportunities outside of the company.

"I would like to take the opportunity to congratulate both Olli and Petr for their new assignments. It pleases me that we can fill both positions from within the Group. In addition, I would like to thank Shashank for his contribution and wish him all the best in his future challenges," Moisio said.
