Burgo to Shutter LWC Machine at Duino Mill 

Burgo Group, Italy, a producer of coated and specialty papers, reportedly has initiated a consultation process with employee representatives for the closure of PM 2 at its Duino mill in Italy. The planned closure is at the end of this year.

The shutdown of PM 2, which produces lightweight coated (LWC), will impact 150 workers at the mill. PM2 has a production capacity of 150.000 metric tpy of LWC grades, both gravure and web offset.
