New Editorial Director for TAPPI’s Paper360º
TAPPI recently announced Jan Bottiglieri as the new Editorial Director for its Paper360° magazine. Bottiglieri is replacing Glenn Ostle, who retired in December 2015 after directing the publication’s editorial content since its inception.
"I was with TAPPI when Paper360° was first developed, and it’s been terrific to see it grow and develop under Glenn’s leadership," said Bottiglieri. "To come back to TAPPI staff as this publication’s editorial director is really exciting; not only do we have a great editorial team, but we have the benefit of truly engaged readers and members."
Bottiglieri first joined the pulp and paper industry in 1987, working in a variety of editorial positions for PIMA magazine and PIMA's Papermaker magazine. When TAPPI purchased Papermaker from PIMA in 2001, Bottiglieri joined the TAPPI staff, holding editorial positions for TAPPI publications including Paper360° and TAPPI Journal, as well as a position as director of communications.
In 2014, Bottiglieri was lead writer on the team that produced Celebrating a Century of Achievement, the commemorative book marking TAPPI’s 2015 Centennial Celebration. After six years as a freelance business writer, Bottiglieri has officially re-joined the TAPPI staff as editorial director for Paper360°.
Paper360º co-branded with RISI’s PPI magazine in October of this past year. The partnership combined the industries’ two leading magazines covering global developments, as well as trends and manufacturing innovations.
