The Arne Asplund Award Foundation (AAAF) is now accepting nominations of candidates to the Arne Asplund Award in mechanical pulping.  

 

According to the Rules of the AAAF, the Award candidate – the Award receiver to be selected by a chosen selection committee – should have made an outstanding contribution, preferably during the preceding five years, to the research into and/or the industrial development of high yield pulping, i.e. mechanical or chemi-mechanical pulping, utilizing mechanical defibration techniques, and/or new applications using high yield pulps. Nominations should contain a brief CV, motivation and the achievements of the candidates and a list of publications.

 

The nomination should be sent by e-mail to Chairman Göran Bengtsson of the Arne Asplund Mechanical Pulping Award Foundation no later than February 29.
