Solenis is seeking an ambitious and talented Area Sales Manager in Pine Bluff, Ark., USA.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including providing career development planning and opportunities for future roles. Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall Solenis organization's beliefs and experiences.
- Drive team adoption and utilization of both the Solenis Customer Value Added (CVA) sales process and Salesforce.com. Drive a team standard for all associates to establish, maintain and prioritize a current and accurate sales funnel.
- Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Maintain and foster business/customer relationships while positioning Solenis for future growth.
- Conduct the necessary site and LMS/class room training programs to understand the overall operations of the territory plants and new customer sites.
- Sell new business and new applications in your territory. Develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities including documenting ROI after the closure of the program.
- Meet forecast and profitability objectives (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable).
- Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvements.
**This job is based on a ladder structure and the job level (salary) will be determined by the quantity and quality of your experience and skill.
- Bachelor Degree in Science related field, preferably Chemical Engineering
- Problem solving skills
- Basic computer skills
- Microbiological control program knowledge
- Paper machine operation knowledge,
- Pulp mill knowledge
- 5-10 years experience would be preferred
- Proven record of delivering results and leading teams to achieve team goals and business plan
- Builds a strong team atmosphere and culture for success that drives loyalty and team spirit and diversity
- Pro-actively identifies and anticipates customer requirements, expectations, and needs
- Understands the customers’ business and helps them deliver on their goals and objectives
- Leadership capabilities include: Drives Performance, People Development, Collaboration, Acts Decisively, Customer Focused
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of customer (businesses, organizational structure, value drivers, products/services, competitive market positions) and relevant industries and markets (economic trends, and value drivers, threats/opportunities, current growth and future potential)
