Twin Rivers Contributes $100,000 to Edmundston Amphitheatre Project
Twin Rivers Paper, Madewaska, Me., USA, announced this past week its contribution to the Edmundston Community Amphitheatre campaign, totaling $100,000. A key project for the vitality and future of the city, this donation will provide support for the construction of this important community space.
"We are invested in the community we work in. Edmundston is our home and we want to help it grow and thrive," said Timothy Lowe, CEO of Twin Rivers Paper Co. "On behalf of our 1,000 workers, we are extremely proud to support this project and help build our community."
Campaign Co-Chairs Don Bélanger and Françoise Violette were excited to receive the news. "This project will bring vitality, and help build a more prosperous Edmundston. With this new modern space, we will have a hub for sports and cultural events within the city," said Bélanger. "Twin Rivers is a large employer in our region, so we are thrilled to have their support on this community building project."
This $100,000 donation makes Twin Rivers a Builder Sponsor for the Edmundston Community Amphitheatre project.
"We look forward to seeing many Twin Rivers employees, and the rest of the community, making use of everything the new facility will bring to Edmundson," said Lowe. "It’s project’s like this, that help to create great places for people to live and work."
