TAPPI and the Wisconsin Institute for Sustainable Technology (WIST) have partnered to bring you an incredible opportunity to learn about innovative ways in which the industry is converting renewable resources into chemicals and biofuels.
May 23-24 at the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, Wis., USA
This is a new course that's designed to help you understand the latest advances in chemical production and biofuels.
You'll learn how to clearly distinguish between biochemical and thermal conversion of biomass into liquid biofuels.
The instructor, Dr. Malek Alkasrawi, assistant professor of paper science and engineering at UW-Stevens Point, will discuss basic principles of chemical and biological conversion processes in terms of yield and efficiency of biofuel and chemicals production.
