Munksjö (Stockholm, Sweden), a global manufacturer of advanced papers products, announced Monday (June 20) that its Stenay mill in France has been awarded OHSAS 18001:2007 certification for its Occupational Health and Safety Management System by the SGS accreditation body.

Stenay mill is already certified according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004, respectively, for its quality and environmental management systems. This triple management system certification is a good foundation striving for continuous improvement.

Munksjö has 15 total sites. A total of 11/12 of these production sites are now certified according to OHSAS:18001:2007.

The Stenay mill employs 205 employees and is part of the Business Area Graphics and Packaging. This production site is specialized in the manufacturing of one-side coated papers for flexible packaging, metallizing, and labeling, as well as release liners and other papers for industrial applications. The site is certified according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007, FSC®, and PEFC™ Chain-of-Custody.
