November 2016 containerboard production in the U.S. was 3.8% higher than in November 2015, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) November 2016 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report issued this week. The month-over-month average daily production compared with October 2016 was 3% higher. 

The U.S. containerboard operating rate for November increased to 96.4%, while the year-to-date operating rate was 0.5% lower compared with year-to-date 2015
