U.S. containerboard production in February 2017 was 0.7% higher than in February 2016, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) February 2017 Containerboard Monthly (CB3) Report issued this week. The month-over-month average daily production compared with January 2017 was 0.5% lower. 

The containerboard operating rate for February 2017 increased from 96.5% to 97.8%, which was 4.0 percent higher than in February of last year.
