U.S. containerboard production in March 2017 was 3.9% higher than in March 2016, according to the March 2017 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this past week by AF&PA, Washington, D.C., USA. The month-over-month average daily production compared with February 2017 was 3.1% lower.

The containerboard operating rate for March 2017 decreased from 97.8% to 96.3%, which was 3.4% higher compared with March of last year.
