Total U.S. boxboard production in March 2017 increased 1.0% compared with March 2016, and increased 10.2% from last month (February 2017), according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C, USA) March 2017 Boxboard Report issued this past week.

Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased during the same month as last year, but increased compared with last month. Total solid bleached boxboard and Liner production increased compared with March 2016, and increased compared with February 2017. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with March 2016, but increased when compared with last month (February 2017).
