U.S. containerboard production in April 2017 was 4.8% higher than in April 2016. The month-over-month average daily production compared with March 2017 was 2.7% higher, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) April 2017 U.S. Containerboard Statistics Report released this week. The containerboard operating rate for April increased from 96.7% to 97.1%, which was 1.9% higher compared with April 2016.
