Total U.S. boxboard production increased 3.2% compared with April 2016, but decreased 3.5% from last month, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) April 2017 U.S. Boxboard Report issued this week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month as last year and increased compared with last month. 

Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production increased compared with April 2016, but decreased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with April 2016, and decreased compared with last month.
