As a Quality Lead with Liberty Carton Co. (LCC), you will join a small team dedicated to the quality and process improvements throughout our corrugated box plant where we design and manufacture packaging solutions ranging from traditional corrugated shipping containers to custom-designed point-of-purchase displays, retail packaging, protective packaging, and hazardous materials packaging, including product fulfillment, distribution, and warehousing. You will work with cross-functional teams to drive continual improvement around processes and systems involving day-to-day operations as well as on a project basis.
This full-time position reports directly to the Quality Manager and is located in LCC’s 315,000 sq. ft. corrugated plant in Golden Valley, Minn. (Highway 394 & Louisiana Ave.).
ADDITIONALLY IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Help address issues driving customer complaints as you support the investigation surrounding the complaints using root cause analysis to tackle symptoms not causes.
- Successfully lead projects from start to finish as you facilitate and promote operational excellence and drive a culture of employee engagement around quality and process improvement.
- Accurately track, monitor, and report projects, including presenting senior leadership with final report of findings, solutions, and results.

TO QUALIFY YOU WILL BRING:
- A Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred) or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3+ (and, please, no more than 8 to 10) years working in a continuous improvement related role in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience leading multiple process improvements projects involving cross functional teams.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Root Cause Analysis.
- Solid organization skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Solid computer skills including Microsoft Suite.
