Georgia Tech’s Professional Master’s in Manufacturing Leadership Inaugural Cohort Graduates
Graduates made history as the inaugural cohort who obtained their master’s degree in manufacturing leadership. The degree combines leadership, technical and business aspects – all critical components for effective leadership in 21st century manufacturing.
Designed for working professionals, this two-year postgraduate program enables them to build the expertise needed to master complex, wide-ranging manufacturing challenges while maintaining full-time jobs.
"We salute graduates for their dedication in pursuing a demanding academic program while continuing their employment responsibilities, and – most important – for their achievement of this milestone in their career development, "said Norman Marsolan, executive director, Renewable Bioproducts Institute, and academic director of PMML.
Learners in the program gain applied practical learning in a convenient format that combines online learning with face-to-face instruction. This hybrid approach requires three brief on-site visits to Georgia Tech’s main campus in Atlanta, and consists of 10 courses taken online, one course at a time online.
"This program provided me with both personal and professional development," said graduate, Roseann Lee. "I am already applying what I learned at Georgia Tech on the job, and I’m seeing that I am a stronger contributor because of it."
The third cohort for the Professional Master’s in Manufacturing Leadership started this August.. The next program starts in August 2018 for which applications are due May 1, 2018.
