Call for Abstracts Now Open
The theme for 2018 is "Cellulose Materials – Solutions for Industry Applications" and features topics on:
- Industrial Production and Use
o Industrial and Pilot Scale Production
o Industrial Applications/End Uses
- Technical Presentations on New Research Findings in:
o Characterization and Metrology from the Lab to Production Plant
o Mediated Assembly
o Composite Processing and Testing
o Paper and Packaging
o Functional Materials and Soft Matter
o Biomedical Applications
o Nanocellulose Electronics, Photonics, and Energy Technologies
o Product Stewardship and Safety
o Automotive & Other Manufacturing Processing
o Ligno- and Hemi-Nanocellullose Materials.
Students are invited to submit oral presentations and posters and are eligible to earn grants to cover partial travel expenses, discounted registration rates, and other subsidies. All student abstracts will be reviewed by a group appointed by the Technical Program Committee.
All submissions are peer reviewed by the Nano Division Research Subcommittees and conference co-chairs:

- Satoshi Hirata, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology
- Maria Soledad Peresin, Auburn University
Submissions must be received by the above deadline to be considered for acceptance. Due to the large number of submissions received, the organizers cannot guarantee acceptance of abstracts received after this deadline.
