TAPPI Industry Career Center: University of Maine Seeks Process Development Director
The University of Maine is inviting applications for director of the UMaine Process Development Center (PDC). The PDC provides cost-effective, rapid-response research and technical services to the pulp, paper, and allied industries in Maine and beyond. The director will work closely with industry, national laboratories, and academia in support of the industries’ R&D needs. They will oversee all aspects of PDC operations, including staff, budget, safety, business development, and long-range strategic plans. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, pulp and paper technology, or a closely related discipline.
