CCL Industries Completes Acquisition of Treofan Americas
CCL Industries Inc., Toronto, Ont., Canada, a world leader in specialty label, security, and packaging solutions for global corporations, government institutions, small businesses, and consumers, this week confirmed that it completed the previously announced acquisition of Treofan America Inc. and Trespaphan Mexico Holdings GmbH (collectively "Treofan Americas"). Treofan Americas operations in Mexico and the U.S. will immediately transition to trade under the Innovia Films name.
CCL Industries employs approximately 20,000 people operating 168 production facilities in 40 countries with corporate offices in Toronto and Framingham, Mass., USA. Innovia is a leading global producer of specialty, high performance, multi-layer, surface engineered films for label, packaging, and security applications.
The company is partly backward integrated into materials science with capabilities in polymer extrusion, adhesive development, coating & lamination, surface engineering, and metallurgy that are deployed as needed across the four business segments.
