Registration Closing Soon for Exclusive Nanocellulose Course

Registration for the Advancing Commercialization of Nanocellulose: Critical Challenges Workshop – Drying and Compatibilization will close April 30, 2019.

This important workshop is hosted by the Alliance for Pulp & Paper Technology Innovation in collaboration with the U.S.D.A. Forest Service and National Nanotechnology Coordinating Office and in support of the Sustainable Nanomanufacturing Signature Initiative. The event will be held May 7-8, 2019, at Patriot Plaza III · 355 E Street, SW · Washington, DC.

This workshop will foster connections in the US community of scientists to advance two critical, high-impact technology needs for commercialization of nanocellulose—drying and compatibilization.

The two-day session will offer the first public review of state-of-science literature reviews of these two fundamental technologies; develop and prioritize a list of urgent knowledge gaps; and begin to develop interdisciplinary teams to assemble research proposals to tackle them. Participants will learn about the emerging role and potential of nanocellulose in the bioeconomy. They will also hear rapid-fire presentations from a range of nanocellulose producers, users, and researchers about their progress, capabilities, and portfolios. Poster sessions and multiple networking opportunities will provide ample opportunity to interact with the most active minds in the important work of realizing the full potential of nanocellulosic materials.

Participants will help establish an action-oriented research agenda and may join the interdisciplinary teams that will develop and execute urgently needed projects.

Register today! Click here APPTI NANO WORKSHOP 2019 for registration and information. The registration fee of $275.00 will cover the cost of breakfast and lunch both days, an offsite reception, and copies of the white papers and workshop summary.

Space is still available.Register soon to reserve a seat. A few slots are still open to offer a poster and flash-report presentation of your organization’s capabilities and progress. Sign up when registering. The registration deadline is April 30, 2019.
