Abstracts are due 13 December for the 2020 TAPPI International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials. Make sure you are considered for inclusion in the program in by submitting your 300-word (or shorter) abstract today. Now is the time for your knowledge to make an impact on the future of cellulose nanomaterials.
This premier event addresses the latest technical developments and applications of renewable nanomaterials. While primarily focused on cellulose nanomaterials, submissions regarding other nano bio-based materials are highly encouraged.
The organizers of this year’s conference are also requesting abstract submissions in two additional focus areas:
All submissions are peer reviewed by TAPPI’s Nano Division Research Subcommittees and conference co-chairs:
Students are invited to submit oral presentations and posters and are eligible to earn grants to cover partial travel expenses, discounted registration rates, and other subsidies. All student abstracts will be reviewed by a group appointed by the Technical Program Committee.
Submit title and 300-word (or shorter) abstract via TAPPI’s Speaker Management System by 13 December.
The International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials will be held 8-11 June 2020 in Helsinki, Finland.
Submit Your Paper to TAPPI Journal, too.
Any paper accepted for inclusion in a TAPPI conference is also eligible for publication in TAPPI Journal (TJ), one of the industry’s premier scientific publications. TJ is joining the Open Access (OA) movement beginning in 2020.
For the first year after publication, TAPPI members will be able to download articles published in TJ for free and nonmembers can download the articles for a fee. On the one-year anniversary of the issue’s publication, the articles will be accessible at no charge to everyone.
And, if that weren’t enough, your paper could win the $2,000 Honghi Tran TAPPI Journal Best Paper Prize presented at PaperCon.
