We honor Richard Marshall Ludwig who was a member of TAPPI since 1954 and TAPPI Fellow since 1990. He passed away on December 19, 2019. Richard had a proclivity for leadership throughout his career. He was Vice President of Engineering and Logistics at International Paper Co., long-time executive with Hammermill Paper Co., and former chairman of the Membership and Gifts & Bequests Committees of the University of Maine Pulp and Paper Foundation.
Ludwig’s leadership expertise also earned him accolades from TAPPI. He was elected a TAPPI Fellow and is a recipient of the Leadership and Service Award.
Richard Marshall Ludwig will be missed but remembered for his legacy.
