Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC Seeks Senior Process Engineer

Hunt, Guillot & Associates, LLC is searching for a Senior Process Engineer for its Catawba, South Carolina, USA location. This Senior Process Engineer is a 3-6 month contract position working for a client in the Catawba, South Carolina area. They will lead activities in determining the efficient and effective use of the process chemistry’s full spectrum in order to evaluate the economic use of established chemical controls and any trial chemistry being evaluated for use.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Manage vendor compliance with mill safety rules for storage, inventory and handling.
• Process Engineer will review daily production and quality data, analyzes production and operation issues.
• Assist key personnel in outage planning and operational scheduling.
• Process Engineer will analyze weekly and monthly process trends.
• Monitor departmental cost, develop capital project scope and budget

Qualifications:

• 15+ years’ Pulp & Paper experience with extensive knowledge of integrated Kraft Pulp Mills Power and Recovery, especially evaporators
• Bachelor’s Degree - Chemical Engineering
• Per diem will be considered for highly qualified candidates
