The 2020 TAPPI Fiberglass Mat Technology Event is Going Virtual

The TAPPI Nonwoven Engineers and Technologists (NET) Division’s Fiberglass Mat Technology Virtual Series will take place 11 am-1 pm EDT on Thursdays, October 1, 8, 15 and 22. Each week’s session will focus on a different topic and provide insight from two or three different industry experts. You’ll have an opportunity to have your questions answered at the conclusion of each session.

Sessions include:

• October 1: Market--featuring the ever-popular 3M Annual Economic Forecast and a two-part presentation, Basic and Practical Aspects of Papermaking.
• October 8: Technology—learn about Advances in Fiberglass Mat Online Measurement Techniques and Binder and Coating Application on Wetlaid Nonwoven Glass Fiber Mat
• October 15: Workforce—gain insight into how industry and local community college interactions can help improve employee recruitment efforts and employee development. Learn about the strategies mills have undertaken to shore up the knowledge gap in their organizations and how they are adapting to the changing workforce.
• October 22: Safety—details to come.
