Runtech Systems delivers two RunEco vacuum systems to Shanying International, at its Zhaoqing mill in China. RunEco systems will provide vacuum for the two new linerboard machines PM52 and PM53 with design speed of 1,200 m/min and wire width of 9,300 mm. The delivery consists of 15 EP Turbo Blowers, Ecoflow dewatering measurements for press and wire sections, and parts for the concrete water separators. Start-up is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022.
“We are happy to continue the good cooperation with Shanying International. The energy efficiency and good operating experiences of the previous EP Turbo Blower installations convinced the customer to continue with this technology,” says Wen Le, Site Leader, Runtech Systems.
“Runtech’s variable speed turbo blowers are adjustable, which makes them optimal in greenfield installations where the true vacuum need is often revealed only after papermaking line start up. Capacity adjustment allows the vacuum system to be optimized quickly without throttling and spare air losses. This is why many of the most efficient paper mills rely on Runtech’s technology,” says Hannu Kääriä, Sales Director, APAC, Runtech Systems.
Environmentally friendly and energy efficient, RunEco paper machine vacuum system provides a reliable, completely water free vacuum solution that is ideal for industrial paper machine vacuum applications. Less energy and no water contribute to lower CO2 emissions and smaller carbon footprint.
EP Turbo Blowers are modern blowers with integrated high-speed motor controlled by a frequency converter. With this technology rotation speed and vacuum level can be adjusted according to the process requirements. Impellers mounted directly on the motor shaft make the construction simple with only two bearings in the whole EP Turbo Blower. Compact construction makes the installation fast and easy.
Shanying International, Guangdong mill, founded in 2019, is part of Shanying International Holding, founded in 1957. The company has several packaging paper and newspaper production lines producing box board paper, high-strength fluting paper, card paper, newspaper and other products.
