TAPPI Industry Career Center: Domino Amjet Inc. Seeks Corrugated Pre-press / Color Specialist and Trainer

Domino Amjet Inc. focuses on above market top and bottom-line growth, building on its core strength of Coding & Marking with the aim of becoming market leader in Digital Printing. Reporting to the Digital Printing Demonstration Supervisor and working closely with the Account Managers, Service and Support managers, the Corrugated Machine Demonstrator and Trainer will play a key role in supporting our customers, implementing a clear, customer-first strategy which supports business growth and delivers projects on time and on budget. This position is located in Gurnee, Illinois.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and implement processes and support first-class demonstrations which highlight the capabilities and commercial market advantages of the Domino single-pass digital corrugated press
- Manage, implement, and support processes to deliver first-class print samples to customers which reflect the capabilities of the Domino single-pass corrugated press.
- Train and support the customer on all aspects of operation and maintenance of the Digital Front End and color management for a single-pass digital corrugated press.
- Manage customer relationships and drive towards an excellent customer experience.
- Work with the Digital Solutions team to ensure customer ramp up is effective for both customer and Domino.
- Support, develop, and enhance local systems, policies and best practices in-line with Domino global needs and standards.
- Ensure that all demonstrations, samples and customer visits are carried out in-line with Domino processes and with appropriate attention to employee and customer safety.
- Build team culture to drive alignment and compliance with standards and processes.
- Actively work to minimize waste and improve overall profit for the business, developing a culture of continuous improvement.
- Ensure projects completed are fully documented and formally accepted by the DP Demonstration Supervisor.

Experience/ Credentials needed:
- Technical degree
- 3+ years in technical customer facing role
- Industrial technology company
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong digital print and color background
- Technically astute
- Customer centric
- Able to travel
