In Memoriam: TAPPI Member, Paul Keith Kelly Jr.

TAPPI member Keith Paul Kelly Jr passed away on April 24 after a short illness at The University of Mississippi Medical Center - Grenada. During his career, Paul was a dryer specialist for Albany International in their Process Analysis Group and a service technician at Albany Paper. He created the “Papermaking Then and Now” Facebook group that has over 6700 members.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, riding motorcycles, and playing Pokemon. Paul was a huge Star Trek and Dr. Who fan. His family mentions that, “to know Keith was to love him, he was sure to put a smile on any face.” Even though, a sudden unexpected loss is hard on the family, they are thankful for the time they were given with him on this Earth.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Kelly of Grenada; two daughters, Tory Kelly of Grenada and Tara Hopkins of Brandon; two sons, Paul Keith Kelly, III of Oregon and Cody Yeager of Grenada; one brother, Travis Kelly of Holcomb; and several grandchildren. His genuine warmth will be missed by his loved ones.
