Dutch carton maker FOLBB has initiated a multi-year program to upgrade and increase its manufacturing capacities at the facility in Eerbeek, in The Netherlands, the business said in a statement.
“As a first step, the folding boxboard mill in Eerbeek … will replace the current press [with] a new shoe press. The infrared installation used to dry the cartonboard will be upgraded at the same time. This will result [with a] higher production efficiency and lower gas consumption,” according to the statement.
With the aim to implement the project and accommodate the replacement of the facility’s existing press, production activities at the factory will be halted for a month starting on 13 September 2022, the Dutch business said.
