TAPPI’s Nonwovens, Engineers and Technologists (NET) Division Announces New Committees

Nonwovens are unique, high-tech, engineered fabrics made from fibers, and used across a wide range of applications and products. Today, innovations in nonwoven fabrics are growing as rapidly as the demand for them, with almost unlimited possibilities for a wide variety of industries.

TAPPI’s Nonwovens, Engineers and Technologists (NET) Division is a forum for technical professionals to assess and promote the broad nonwovens industry by offering participants the opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise in support of the industry. To help ensure the Division embraces the expanding scope of this diverse field, NET announced the formation of two new committees, Sustainability, Circularity and Recyclability (SCR), and Hygiene and Medical Markets.  These two new groups join three existing Committees:  Raw Material and Equipment; Fiberglass Mat; and the NET Division Steering Committee. Interested professionals are invited to join any, or all, that focus on their areas of expertise and interests:

To join or learn more about the NET Division, its committees, and how to join them, email TAPPI Division Manager Tyler Mast.
