Anna Jonhed has Been Appointed CEO of Rottneros Packaging

Anna Jonhed has been appointed CEO of Rottneros Packaging. She will take office during the first half of 2024 and will be part of the Rottneros group management.

The background is that Rottneros Packaging is now entering the next phase as the leading supplier of high-quality fiber-based packaging. This involves an increased focus on developing market position and reaching the right customers with full force, as well as increasing production capacity. So far, the main focus has been on developing the product and production process.

Interest and demand are growing strongly for molded fiber trays as a sustainable alternative to fossil-based packaging. As part of Rottneros’ commitment, the organization needs to evolve with both more people and new skills to maintain the pace of business development and enhance the group’s leading market position.

Anna Jonhed will assume the position of CEO of Rottneros Packaging no later than the beginning of June 2024. Anna comes most recently from StoraEnso and has previously worked in both the pulp and paper industry and the graphic industry.

Jesper Jansson, who is responsible for Rottneros Packaging and has successfully led the business, is transitioning to a commercial role, primarily responsible for product and technology sales, as well as marketing.

“It will be exciting to lead Rottneros Packaging in the next phase. Rottneros is known for its high-quality solutions and is a pioneer in molded fiber packaging in the Nordic region,” says Anna Jonhed.
“It is with both pride and joy that we have been able to recruit Anna. It shows that Rottneros can attract the very best to drive the development of fossil-free packaging forward,” says Lennart Eberleh, CEO of Rottneros AB.
