Willamette Falls Paper Company recently appointed David M. Diekelman to the role of Vice President of Sales, effective January 1. Diekelman takes over the position from Mark Sterry, who will continue with the company as its National Sales Director West to ensure the continuation of the strategies he helped shape.
Diekelman brings over 30 years of paper industry experience in numerous roles, including production, business development, marketing, and sales. He holds a bachelor's degree in paper engineering from Western Michigan University and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
"We are tremendously grateful for Mark's dedicated service to our company," said Brian Konen, President of Willamette Falls Paper Company. "He played an instrumental role in building the Willamette Falls Paper Company from its early stages nearly five years ago to the successful company it is today.
"Initiating our planned succession, we are confident that David will bring his unique expertise and industry knowledge to bear in his new role as Vice President of Sales," Konen added.
