This workshop provides a comprehensive overview of Pulping, Bleaching, Chemical Recovery, Recycling, Papermaking and Converting operations.

Who should attend?

This introductory-level workshop is tailored for new process engineers, operators, technicians, sales, and service personnel, and aims to enhance your understanding of fundamental processes. You will gain a broader knowledge base, enabling you to perform your role more effectively. If you seek a comprehensive understanding of paper industry operations, from woodyard to final product, this workshop is ideal for you.

What will you learn?

You will be provided with the opportunity to learn how different processes affect paper properties, perform lab experiments to enhance your understanding of processes and run a pilot-plant paper machine. The workshop structure includes morning presentations and hands-on laboratory exercises in the afternoons.Topics covered include wood structure and chemistry, chemical and mechanical pulping operations, stock preparation and the significance of chemical recovery and environmental regulations in pulp mills.
