UPM Raflatac has opened a new slitting and distribution terminal in Mumbai, India.
The new Mumbai terminal, operational since February, will soon see the addition of another slitting machine. Its strategic central location extends UPM Raflatac's reach across the country.
"The new terminal improves our competitiveness and thus better positions UPM Raflatac as one of the leading label suppliers in India," said Suresh Valecha, Country Manager, India, UPM Raflatac.

With the new modern facility, we can stock more material locally which will optimize lead times, enhance service, and help meet the diverse and dynamic needs of our customers."
UPM Raflatac noted that with the opening of the new Mumbai terminal, the company's existing terminal in Bangalore, India, will be closed by the end of March.
