A survey has been commissioned by the Forest and Wood Products Sector Inclusion Council, which is led by the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities. The goal is attracting and retaining a vibrant workforce which is a priority that touches everyone. The survey is part of a workforce study focused on the forest and wood products sector, with a particular focus on identifying the existing labor force, and exploring issues and opinions around inclusion, recruitment, and retention.
