The upcoming conference, May 4-7, 2025 in Minneapolis, MN, will center around six key topics shaping the future of the industry. This reimagined format is designed to provide attendees with deeper insights and actionable knowledge across all segments of the industry.

In addition, TAPPICon 2025 is also expanding its industry scope to include other segments, such as pulping, engineering, nanotechnology, and biobased materials. This expansion reflects TAPPICon's commitment to providing a comprehensive platform that addresses the diverse needs and interests of the global forest products community, from paper, tissue, coating, process control, recycled paperboard and more.

2025 TAPPICon’s Six Proposed Topics

1. Equipment, Processes & Operations

This topic focuses on advanced solutions aimed at optimizing processes and equipment to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and operational reliability. Emphasizing fundamentals of engineering, optimization and operation with advanced technologies.

2. Emerging Technologies & Methodologies

This topic highlights the latest technological advancements transforming the pulp and paper industry. Including new and online tools and methods for assessing and enhancing production processes, focusing on both fundamental and cutting-edge engineering approaches and cybersecurity.

3. Corporate Citizenship, Sustainability & Environmental Impact

This theme explores how corporate citizenship integrates with sustainable practices and strategies aimed at reducing the environmental footprint and promoting a circular economy within the pulp and paper industry. It emphasizes the responsibility of corporations to engage in ethical practices that benefit society and the environment, alongside recycling, sustainability, and the environmental impact of various processes.
