We are saddened to announce the passing of Janet Neighbors, who was an accomplished TAPPI Member for 42 years (1982-2024). Neighbors was elected as a TAPPI Fellow in 1999 for her meritorious service to the association and the industry.
A very active member and volunteer, Neighbors served on various committee boards and local sections such as the LSOC Board Committee, Membership Committee, Nominating and Honors Committee, and more. She also played a role in publishing nearly 50 technical papers and articles for the industry.
Her contributions to TAPPI and her passion for the industry will be celebrated for years to come. TAPPI sends condolences to her family and friends.
