Mondi has unveiled a new fully recyclable Protective Mailer made entirely of paper, addressing the growing demand for eco-friendly eCommerce packaging solutions.

Developed in collaboration with Amazon, these innovative mailers offer a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic bubble wrap. The design features:

Nedim Nisic, Mondi Group eCommerce Director, highlighted the product's alignment with consumer preferences: "In our recent eCommerce report, we found that 88% of consumers value protective packaging as their top need, and 58% expect nearly all parcels to be delivered in compostable or recyclable packaging."Thais Blumer, European Head of Sustainable Packaging for Amazon, added, "Achieving both low weight and maximum protection with a 100% recyclable paper envelope was not an easy task, but these envelopes are easy to pack, simple for customers to recycle at home, and enable damage-free deliveries."
