Corrugated Box Maker Purchases 200th Twin Box Slitter from BW Papersystems

Green Bay Packaging in Lebanon, Ohio, a corrugated box manufacturer, recently purchased the 200th twin box slitter from BW Papersystems in Phillips, Wisconsin. This marks a significant milestone for the machine, recognized for its precision, efficiency and contribution to box-making production lines.

The twin box slitter has become an industry favorite for the versatility it brings to production by expanding the product range box makers can manufacture with a mid-size flexo folder gluer (FFG).

The twin box slitter is a unique converting machine. The addition of a twin box slitter enables box plants to double the production of flexo folder gluers by running two-up boxes. These boxes are slit, creating two boxes. Once the boxes are separated, they are ready to be bundled. This process allows manufacturers with a mid-sized flexo folder gluer to create a range of corrugated box sizes, from very small to large, on one machine.

Green Bay Packaging joins the list of companies that have integrated this equipment into their operations.
