Pending approval from the competition authorities, the deal is expected to close this fall. Financial information was not disclosed. Neenah Lahnstein operates a mill near Koblenz, Germany, employing some 200 people.

Bennett plans to start occupying the building on September 21 and add 37 employees there this year. Within a year, 20 more employees will be added at the site. As a result of the transactions that will make the company private, Yida International Acquisition Ltd. (Carson City, Nev., USA) acquired approximately 90.8% of the total issued and outstanding shares of common stock of Shengda. On Tuesday the company filed to be delisted from the NASDAQ.

According to the court, the government's explanation of its decision to exclude certain softwood lumber manufacturers from paying or voting on the tax "strains credulity," and the USDA was either "hiding the ball" or else "ill informed" about the number of companies it had exempted.

Blazer Digital is an economical, coated digital paper with weight and finish choices similar to conventional folio formats. Offered in gloss and satin, text, and cover weights, it provides good performance on dry and liquid toner, production color laser printers, and digital offset technologies.

The new forming fabric combines a very fine 2-shed paper side to obtain a smooth surface with a 4-shed wear side. The woven structure of the fabric ensures fast drainage and a high level of sheet support while maximizing dimensional stability.

Sustainability
The agreement became possible after Eneco was given the go-ahead to retrofit its biomass facility—Bio Golden Raand in Delfzijl (the Netherlands)—to produce steam in addition to electricity. AkzoNobel will now purchase sustainably generated steam for the next 12 years, as well as investing in new infrastructure at the Delfzijl Chemical Park.

Jörgen Lindquist holds a degree in business administration, having studied at Växjö University and Lund University, and has extensive experience as a CFO and VP. He will be joining Södra from IKEA, where he has spent the past five years working as CFO and acting VP of the company's industry division Swedspan International.
