Containerboard production in December decreased by 3.2% compared with December 2014, and monthly average daily production compared eith November 2015 decreased by 2.5%.

 

The U,S, sanitary paper producer price index rose to a seven-month high in December 2015, according to data recently released by the U.S. Bureau of Statistics.

 

Total shipments in 2015 were 1.3% higher than in 2014. Bleached Kraft paper shipments increased from 6.8 thousand tons in November, a 7.5% increase, while unbleached Kraft paper decreased from 123.6 to 122.4 thousand tons.

Norway now has more than 9.1 million hectares of PEFC (as of Tuesday) certified forest, equaling more than three quarters of the country’s forest area .In Slovakia, two-thirds of the country’s forest area, approximately 1.2 million hectares, are PEFC certified in the 10 years since the country's system was first endorsed.
