Verso Corporation (NYSE: VRS) reported financial results for the third quarter of 2020 and announced that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend for the quarter ending December 31, 2020, in the amount of $0.10 per each outstanding share of Verso's Class A common stock.

Domart Corporation recently reported a net loss of $92 million ($1.67 per share) for the third quarter of 2020 compared to net earnings of $19 million ($0.34 per share) for the second quarter of 2020 and net earnings of $20 million ($0.32 per share) for the third quarter of 2019. Sales for the third quarter of 2020 were $1.1 billion.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from ITC Paperboards and Specialty Papers Division (ITC-PSPD) to supply a new evaporation plant for its Bhadrachalam unit located in Telangana, India.

Skjern Paper is Denmark’s only paper mill. Founded in 1965, it is situated in Skjern, West Jutland. Since 2005, the ownership majority has been held by Buur Invest A/S, a Danish privately-owned investment company. The mill’s current annual capacity is 75,000 metric tons, including a range of products - coreboard, grey and blueliner, greyboard and sheets - produced from 100% recycled fibers.

International technology Group ANDRITZ has received an order from Bracell to supply the non-condensable gases (NCG) incineration system on EPCC basis for Bracell’s pulp mill Project “STAR” in Lençóis Paulista, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Nippon Paper Industries Co., Ltd. has announced plans to close its Kushiro paper mill in Hokkaido, Japan, in September 2021. The mill's primary products are newsprint, publication paper and kraft paper.

Yahoo Business reports that Domtar Corporation (NYSE: UFS) (TSX: UFS) announced it has signed an agreement with Voith to provide equipment and technical services to convert the paper machine at its Kingsport, Tennessee, mill to produce recycled containerboard including high-performance lightweight packaging grades, as well as industry standard grades.

Stora Enso has decided to commence a feasibility study and environmental permit application process on enhancing and expanding the pulp- and board-making capabilities at its Skoghall Mill in Sweden. The investment would leverage the already strong mill into an integrated, highly cost-competitive and environmentally-friendly producer of packaging board and bleached softwood market pulp. The investment would serve customers globally and further establish Stora Enso as a provider of high-quality, renewable packaging materials.

Resolute Forest Products announced that after a 39-year distinguished career with Resolute, Yves Laflamme will be stepping down, and retiring, as of March 1, 2021. The board of directors has unanimously selected and appointed Remi G. Lalonde as the company's next President and Chief Executive Officer, effective on the same date.

WestRock Co., Atlanta, has announced that Jim Porter, president of business development and Latin America, has decided to retire, effective Dec. 31, as reported by Recycling Today. Following his retirement, Porter will continue to contribute to WestRock by serving as one of its representatives on the board managers of Gondi, S. de R.L. de C.V., the company’s Grupo Gondi joint venture, and an advisor to the company.
