GrandBay Papelera Internacional started up a double-width AHEAD 2.2L tissue machine supplied by Toscotec at its Rio Hondo Zacapa site in Guatemala. The new PM7 line will add over 60,000 tons to the mill’s annual production capacity.

After having chosen SAEL as the supplier of its sectional drive in Verona in Italy, FEDRIGONI has entered the full production with the plant started up at the beginning of the year. Since the PM1 rebuilding in 2015, and its great payback reliability over 7 years of use, the paper mill assigned to SAEL the PM3 drive without any doubt.

Containerboard/Packaging
Valmet will supply a coated board machine for Graphic Packaging International (GPI) in the United States. Valmet delivered a similar coated board machine to GPI’s Kalamazoo mill in 2022. The new machine will be supplied to GPI’s mill in Waco, Texas. The start-up of the machine is scheduled for early 2026.

UNIPAKHELLAS, a member of INDEVCO Group, contracted with Toscotec for the supply of a complete paper production line to be installed at UNIPAKHELLAS Central (UHC) mill in Pelasgia, region of Fthiotida, Greece. UNIPAKHELLAS aims to produce high quality test liner and fluting grades to Greek and export markets. The paper machine is scheduled to start up soon.

The paper-making group Lucart has signed a 10-year Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (Corporate PPA) with the Eni Group company, which integrates the production of energy entirely from renewable sources, the sale of energy services and an extensive network of charging points for electric vehicles.
