Runtech Systems rebuilds vacuum systems at WEPA Italia SRL in Italy. The delivery includes RunEco vacuum systems for two tissue machines, Porcari TM16 and Cassino TM13.

MM Board & Paper, Austria, has successfully re-started its KM3 board machine at the Frohnleiten mill after ANDRITZ completed a major rebuild. The rebuild included several upgrade measures to improve the machine’s performance in line with the customer’s targets.

ProJet has successfully started up two (2) Cleaners at Keryas Paper, Oman. PM1 produces Packaging Grades, using 100% OCC. OCC is known for its extreme contamination on the 1st and 2nd Dryer Sections.

Andritz has received an order from Hubei Xianhe New Materials Co., Ltd. to supply a chemi-thermomechanical pulping line with a capacity of 350 admt/d for its mill in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province, China.

Containerboard/Packaging
The paper chase continues across many packaging types including composite paper cans, a market that’s expected to rise at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 4.8% from 2023 to 2033 versus a 2.4% CAGR from 2016 to 2022.

Currently the market reference is composed of a multimaterial film, resulting to non-recyclable packaging. The partners have developed a full PE recyclable Unlaminated Stand-Up Pouch, allowing to decrease the packaging thickness.
