International technology group ANDRITZ has received an order from Moorim P&P, South Korea, to upgrade an evaporation plant at its Ulsan mill, which produces bleached kraft pulp and different types of high-quality paper. The refurbishment will help to increase the mill’s efficiency and reduce consumption of resources.

The currently idled Trenton, Ontario (Canada) corrugated medium mill will not restart operations, while the Belleville, Ontario and Newtown, Connecticut (U.S.) converting plants will be permanently closed, in a progressive manner, by May 31, 2024.
