Spanish packaging specialist Hinojosa Packaging Group has announced that it closed last year with a turnover of some €739 million euros. This represented a 10 percent decrease compared with 2022.

The new TM2 featuring a RunEco vacuum system has started up at Papelera Reyes in Callao, Peru. Runtech delivered an EP600 Turbo Blower and an EcoDrop water separator as part of the tissue machine package. The tissue machine, supplied by RePlus Tissue, can produce 130 tons/day, and operates at a speed of 2,000 meters/minute.

Georgia-Pacific has announced an investment of more than $150 million to rebuild a paper machine at its mill in Wauna, Oregon.

Metsä Group’s innovation company Metsä Spring has decided to start a pre-engineering project for the first commercial factory producing the new packaging solution, Muoto™. Muoto products are wood-based alternatives to plastic packaging.
