Sappi Europe has cut the carbon footprint of its Galerie paper range by 55%, which is projected to reach 70% by the end of 2024. Domtar announced that Randy Adams, Health and Safety Manager at the company's containerboard mill in Kingsport, Tennessee, recently won the Pulp and Paper Safety Association's Distinguished Service Award. The award is the PPSA's highest honor, recognizing individuals for their leadership and service to the association and the paper industry during their careers.

Kimberly-Clark announced that Craig Slavtcheff has been appointed Chief Research and Development Officer, effective July 29. Slavtcheff will succeed Robert Long, who is retiring from the company after 45 years in the CPG industry, including the last three years at Kimberly-Clark.
