Startup company Releaf Paper, originally from Ukraine, has discovered a new way to produce pulp and paper – from fallen leaves. “It’s so obvious that paper can be made from leaves, as the leaf is part of the tree, the main material for papermaking”, Releaf Paper states.

Georgia-Pacific is investing $90 million at its Crossett, Arkansas, mill to continue growing its retail consumer tissue business. The investment at the Crossett mill will add 50 new jobs and will increase converting capacity for high quality bath tissue, including Georgia-Pacific’s valued Angel Soft® brand. Initial production from this investment is expected in 2026.

International technology group ANDRITZ has received a major order for a tissue production line from Juthor Paper Manufacturing Co., part of Middle East Paper Co. (MEPCO) Group, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Start-up is scheduled for 2026. The value of the order will not be disclosed.
