Valmet is to supply an OptiWin Drum two-drum base winder to Jingxing Holdings’ board machine PM 3 in Malaysia. The target of the investment is to have high-capacity winding technology that meets the requirements of the board machine. The start-up of the winder is scheduled for 2026.

Sofidel announced that its tissue mill in Circleville, Ohio, took delivery of a new Yankee Dryer on March 2. The Yankee Dryer will be installed on a new Valmet DCT 200 tissue machine, which will be the mill's third machine and is scheduled for start-up in the third quarter of 2025.

The Port of Sundsvall has become a key hub handling increasing volumes of breakbulk cargo for the forestry and tech industries among others. By investing in new equipment and modern infrastructure, the port has improved its capacity to efficiently and safely handle breakbulk cargo.

The design of EP Turbo Blowers is characterized by its streamlined efficiency, featuring impellers mounted directly onto the motor shaft.

Emission regulations for combustion systems have been in place for more than half a century and in the 1990’s, the Clean Air Act put a spotlight on emissions specifically from industrial boilers. Boiler owners were required to retrofit or replace equipment that did not meet the new limits set for emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx), carbon monoxide (CO), particulate matter (PM), and sulfur dioxide (SO2).

Kimberly-Clark Professional introduced a customer-centric innovation called Onvation SmartFit technology consisting of a small, internet-enabled sensor that fits inside paper towel and bath tissue dispensers to provide real-time data that helps commercial facility managers schedule janitorial staff more efficiently and reduce waste.

Sustainability
The Voith Group has set for itself scientifically based climate targets. Accordingly, the company is committed to reducing the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of its own sites (Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions) by 50.4% by fiscal year 2031/32 compared to the baseline year 2021/22. In addition, Voith aims to reduce GHG emissions from the use of its products (Scope 3) by 30% over the same period.

The Global ESG Score (by Standard & Poor’s, one of the most authoritative sustainability ratings worldwide) has once again recognized the Fedrigoni Group for its excellent ESG performance, awarding it a score of 74 (an impressive 10-point increase compared to 2023) bringing it significantly closer to the top-performing companies.
