Many top experts in our industry are involved in the development of Standards and TIPs which help them – and you – do your jobs better and more efficiently. Why should you be involved? Not only does your experience and expertise add to the process, but it also solidifies professional prestige. You can provide input on Standards in areas such as:

• Packaging
• Nanotechnology
• Workplace training
• Nonwovens
• Bioenergy

If you would like to propose an idea for a new Standard or TIP, please email: standards@tappi.org. TAPPI’s Standard Specific Interest Groups (SSIGs) are the consensus body that develop and review Standards. Each Standard has its own SSIG. If you would like to participate in an SSIG, visit www.tappi.org/participateinstandards.

TAPPI Standards guidelines require that all TAPPI members receive notification of any proposed new Standard or TIPs.
